$500 BALANCED MAN SCHOLARSHIP
The Brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon offer the Balanced Man Scholarship to allow students to distinguish themselves from the rest of the crowd and to assist in the vast costs of the college experience. The scholarship is offered to both graduating high-school students who will attend the University at Buffalo in the Fall 2009 semester, as well as current University at Buffalo students. Sigma Phi Epsilon would like to wish its applicants good luck and the very best of success in their endeavors.
Please note the following:
- Leadership, athletics, and diversity welcomed and encouraged
- Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 (B Average) or higher
- Application Deadline:
- Ongoing for current high school seniors accepted to the University at Buffalo to start in the Fall 2009 semester.
- AWARD:
- $500.00 for fall 2009 semester award.

I am currently a Senior at East Meadow High School in New York. I have applied to SUNY Albany where I would like very much to spend the next four years as a Business Management Program. This scholarship would be a great help in attaining this goal.

Dear Sirs,
I would like to apply for this scholarship. I have been Active in Boy Scouts for many Years. I am currently working on my Eagle Project and am the Patrol Leader. I have just completed my senior year as a Varsity Wrestler. I have always been taught to give more than you take. I am currently a part time Life guard at our community center. I am looking forward to attending the University in the engineering department.
